We are recruiting for an ambitious Chef to join our team at Willows Care Home, who seeks development and to work with a leader in healthcare catering.

This position offers a £10.13 an hour and 37.5 hours per week, free on site parking, access to company discount and well-being programmes as well as a great work life balance.


Shifts range from 07.00-15.00 and 09.30-17.30. These shifts would be rota' d five days a week with one weekend off in three.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as the Chef will consist of:

- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
- Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
- Operate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
- Ensure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures
- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
- Ad-hoc duties to support the catering team and services


Working Pattern: 5 days over 7 - 37.5 hours per week
