Job Description
Elior is seeking a General Manager to lead all catering services at an exciting new contract for an international athletic stadium - Alexander stadium. The ideal candidate will be fully accountable for delivering a high-quality food and beverage operation that aligns with the venue's ambitions and standards. This role is part of Elior's Stadia division, which caters to fans and visitors at prestigious stadiums across the UK, managing everything from matchdays and concerts to conferences and banquets, with a focus on locally sourced, seasonal menus.
As a General Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspirational hospitality professional with extensive experience in food and beverage delivery. We are looking for a ‘people person’ with well-rounded leadership skills who focuses on delivering consistent quality and innovative offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Full commercial accountability for delivering accurate and timely forecasts and budgets.
- Controlling all operating costs and analyzing key performance data to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with support teams within the Elior family to continuously improve guest experience and drive commercial success for all partners.
- Motivating and managing a team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensuring consistent team communication, fostering internal and external relationships, and liaising with clients for innovative menu planning and operational success.
- Ensuring compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, legal regulations, environmental policies, and customer and colleague duty of care.
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day delivery of high product quality and service standards to meet and exceed departmental targets.
Working Pattern: 5 days over 7, 37.5 hours a week.
