Head Barista

 Lexington is one of London’s most respected and fast-growing boutique catering companies. 

Our services cover a broad spectrum including coffee bars with world famous brands, cafés, delis, restaurants and extensive hospitality services to Director’s dining rooms (to Michelin star standard), events and high profile functions for Directors and VIP’s, reception, concierge, switchboard, helpdesk and meeting room management – we deliver with the highest customer service and CSR practices.

Your key responsibilities as the Head Barista will consist of:

• Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
• Making coffees on a traditional machine that are consistently to standard
• Ensuring dietary requirements are adhered too within coffee making process
• Responsible for making a difference to our customers educating them about our premium coffees and teas
• Responsible for providing technical guidance to new team members and assist in  their coffee training program
• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Operate the till point as required through service, ensuring correct procedures are used
• Ensure all complaints handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures
• Ensure all COSHH, Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a patient consultant team
• Highly motivated, confident, high-energy; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
